Sulfamic Acid

Characteristic

Sulfamic Acid is white orthogonal crystal, no volatile, no absorbing moisture, tasteless and odorless. Under normal temperature, it is stable and able to fix steady for several years. It is able to soluble in water and ammonia, slightly soluble in methanol, and do not dissolve ethanol and ether. It shows strongly acidic in aqueous solution. Sulfamic acid has bifunctional of both amino and sulfuric, being able to get reaction with many chemicals. It’s melting point is 205 degrees, the decomposition temperature is 209 degrees.

Application

Metal Cleaning

Removing the oxide layer on metal surface with little corrosion than other inorganic acid, sulfamic acid can be used for boiler cleaning and water disinfection

Nitrite Removing

It can be used for fiber, wood, paper bleaching conversion, removal of nitrite in tobacco salt, oil and mining sludge acidification.

Others

It can be used as raw materials for paints and PH test paper, cotton fiber flame retardant, resin curing agent, pesticide intermediates and raw materials of various amino acid derivatives.

Storage and Packing

This product is 25kg bag, or jumbo bag of 500kg and 1000kg.

It should be kept away from rain, moisture and direct sunlight during storage and transportation.
